The Drinks Business, a global leader in wine industry publications, released its selection of the country’s 16 most attractive still and sparkling white wines, chosen exclusively from among Chile’s 30 leading producers.

The renowned journalist Patrick Schmitt prepared an exclusive list of 16 still white and sparkling wines from Chile in which the 2020 Morandé Edición Limitada Chardonnay appeared as the only Chardonnay from the Malleco Valley and received the equivalent of 91 points.

In Schmitt’s words: “This beautifully balanced, oily textured Chardonnay from Morandé features plenty of peach and pear fruit, along with notes of cashew nut from the oak used in its winemaking, before surprising with a lime-flavoured kick to the palate, giving a pleasant zesty finish to this generous white.”
