Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gives great scores to Morandé

Luis Gutiérrez, responsible for tasting Chilean wines for the respected critic Robert Parker, published his most recent report on Chilean wines, highlighting Viña Morandé as very well-produced wines by winemaker Ricardo Baettig.

Several wines belonging to the Viña Morandé portfolio were highlighted in the latest report on Chilean wines published on www.robertparker.com by the renowned critic Robert Parker. In it, Morandé Vigno 2020 reached a remarkable 94 points, while Morandé Adventure Antiguas Raíces 2019 obtained 93 points, as did the 2020 vintage of House of Morandé.

Other wines from Morandé Adventure, such as Despechado 2022 and Tirazis 2020, obtained 91 points from the critic.

For their part, the wines from the Black Series portfolio needed 93 points for the 2021 Pinot Noir and 92 points for the 2021 Chardonnay, which was highlighted as “It’s subtly oaked, in a very attractive way, in barriques and foudres, tasty and almost salty”.

Finally, the wines from the recently launched Morandé Vitis Única line, in its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties, were ranked with 92 and 91 points respectively.
