TIM ATKIN AWARDED HIGH SCORES TO VIÑA MORANDÉ

The renowned English critic awarded 93 points to Morandé Black Series Pinot Noir and Morandé Black Series Chardonnay 2021, in addition to Morandé Adventure Vigno 2020, thus consolidating the incredible reception these wines have had internationally.

In the 2023 Chilean wine report, Master of Wine and critic Tim Atkin evaluated 15 wines from Viña Morandé. In this way, the winery continues to receive incredible recognition from the most important wine critics in the world.

Morandé Black Series Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, both 2021 vintages, received 93 points. The Chardonnay stood out for its woody intensity and its charming combination of flavors of lemon, mandarin and spices, and the Pinot Noir, for its good balance, intensity and layered tannins.

Morandé Adventure Vigno 2020 received the same score, a wine that stood out for its origin from red clay, granite and quartz soils, as well as its intensity and good balance between wood, spices and red fruits.

For their part, House of Morandé 2020 and Morandé Adventure Creole 2022 obtained 92 points. While Aterciopelado 2022, Bestiario 2021 and Despechado 2022, received 91 points from the critic.

Finally, Selección de Viñedos Carmenère 2020, Antiguas Raíces 2020, Colinas de Ránquil 2021 and Vitis Única Chardonay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, all 2021 harvest, obtained 90 points, which undoubtedly closes an extraordinary participation of Viña Morandé.
