Morandé Vitis Única presents a portfolio of traditional vines, with outstanding origins and unconventional winemaking techniques. Through the choice of specific sectors within each of its terroirs, the line offers wines of great complexity, structure and elegance.

Within its portfolio, the brand presented Vitis Única Mourvèdre, a wine made 100% from this strain, produced in the Pencahue area, in the Maule Valley. It is an intense cherry red wine, with aromas of red fruits, such as sour cherries and raspberries. On the palate it is fresh, juicy and very fruity, with a great balance between acidity, density and tannins, with an elegant body and firm texture.

There are very few wines made 100% from the Mourvèdre vine and even more from the Maule Valley. Therefore Vitis Única Mourvèdre is an unusual proposal within the Chilean wine portfolio, since it is a little-explored strain and the one that is usually used to make wines in combination with others. Without a doubt, a pleasant surprise that has taken all the applause.
