Vitis Única from Morandé presents a portfolio of traditional varieties from outstanding origins made with non-conventional vinification techniques. Through the selection of specific sectors within each of its terroirs, this line offers wines with tremendous complexity, structure, and elegance.
Our La Constancia vineyard, which gives rise to this delicious wine, is in the Maule Valley near the town of Botalcura, Pencahue area. The vineyard was planted in 2012 on a granite slope with large angled stones. It is conducted on a vertical trellis, and the planting density is 4,000 plants per hectare.

DIFFERENTIATION
There are very few wines made 100% from the Mourvèdre vine and even more from the Maule Valley. This is why Vitis Única Mourvèdre is an unusual proposal within the Chilean wine portfolio, since it is a little-explored strain and the one that is usually used to make wines in combination with others.

“Winemaking is a trade, an interpretation of the grapes as well as the place they are grown. It requires knowledge, sensitivity, hard work, and patience to finally enjoy a product that dates to the origins of human culture. It is a very rewarding endeavor.”
We were the first to believe in Casablanca’s potential, and we were not mistaken. Today it is one of the most internationally recognized wine regions for the quality of its wines. Its primary geographic condition is its maritime influence, which enters from the Pacific Ocean and produces morning fog that moderates the temperatures.
