We received two outstanding visits last month in our Belén of Casablanca fields. The 24th we celebrated the arrival of Japanese Blogger and wine expert Yumi Tanabe san, founder of Wine Schools in Sapporo, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kofu, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka, and creator of the Sakura Awards contest.

Mrs. Tanabe is also a jury in important international contests, and author of titles like ‘California Wine’, ‘Success Wine Book’, and ‘Chile Wine Blessed by Great Terroir’, among others. Our oenologist Ricardo Baettig invited her to taste seven of our best wines, like House of Morandé 2014 and Morandé Adventure El Padre.

On Friday 28th, we rejoiced with the Dutch Lars Daniels and Lendl Mijnhijmer. Daniels is currently editor of the well-known Perswijn Magazine (www.perswijn.nl) and oversees one of the most prestigious Masters program in the Netherlands, the ‘Magister Vini Training Program’. Lendl Mijnhijmer was recognized as Best Sommelier 2018 and 2019, aside from being the director of the Bougainville restaurant in Amsterdam, bearer of one Michelin star.

JUNTOS POR EL VINO
