27 Jul We received excellent scores at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021
We are pleased to let you know the excellent score granted by DWWA –one of the most important and influential wine contests of the world-, to our House of Morandé 2018.
This high-end wine, one of the most emblematic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley, also backed by a long history, was awarded a gold medal and 96 points. The acknowledgment was for its tannin structure of great finesse and its soft, elegant, and persistent ending on the palate.
“As of the 2014 harvest, when Pablo Morandé handed me over the baton to continue this legend, I decided to maintain the style of our wine.
Taking the lead from the hands of one of the most important Chilean winemakers is a tremendous challenge and a responsibility I still feel.
Fortunately, I am not alone in this task. At Viña Morandé we are a team that complements each other and enjoys its work. My purpose hasn’t been to replace, since that is impossible, but to continue a vision as well as a fluid and natural way of feeling the craft.”
