One of the most representative examples of this philosophy is our Vitis Única line — a portfolio of wines that reflects both the richness of the terroir and the creativity and curiosity of our winemaking team. This line is built on traditional grape varieties, grown in carefully selected sites within their respective appellations, allowing each to reach its fullest varietal expression.

What makes this portfolio truly unique is not just the origin of the grapes, but the unconventional approach we take throughout the entire winemaking process. At Viña Morandé, we employ techniques that combine tradition and innovation, such as fermentation with whole clusters, manual punch-downs, and the use of foudres, concrete eggs, lagares, and ceramic vats. These practices allow us to craft wines of great complexity, structure, and elegance — wines that stand out in the market for both their style and authenticity.

In the Vitis Única line, terroir plays a leading role. Each variety is grown in zones with optimal conditions for its development, enabling us to capture the essence of the place in every bottle. In the Casablanca Valley, we produce three outstanding expressions: Vitis Única Chardonnay, a wine of remarkable freshness, creamy texture, and a perfect balance between fruit and acidity; Vitis Única Sauvignon Blanc, with a mineral profile, citrus and herbal notes, making it vibrant and complex; Vitis Única Pinot Noir, intense, floral, elegant, and persistent — ideal for those who seek both depth and finesse.

From the Maipo Valley — one of the most prestigious terroirs for Bordeaux varieties — come two reds of great character: Vitis Única Cabernet Sauvignon, with a robust body, velvety tannins, and excellent aging potential; Vitis Única Carmenere, expressive and intense, with earthy notes, spices, and firm, rounded tannins.

Finally, we highlight Vitis Única Mourvèdre, a rare variety in Chile and a true gem of our portfolio. Sourced from the Maule Valley, this wine offers freshness, intense aromas, and an elegant structure — the result of the region’s rich geographical and climatic diversity.
